That's what I wrote about! I love that book so much.
Hey Maddie. My name is Erin and I'm a student at the U of M. I am working on my teaching license and my masters in English Education. For a class that I am taking we have been asked to check out your class blogs. I like your page a lot. I have a blog up and running too but it's not as personalized as yours is, I should ask you for some pointers. I'm so glad to hear that you like Catcher in the Rye. It seems that people either love or hate this book. I also love it. What do you think of the ending? I was also wondering what you think about working on a blog as a class assignment? Anyhow, I'll be checking out your page every now and then, feel free to write back to me or check out my blog.
Hey Maddie,
I really like your double bubble map for this post. Like some of the other comments I have the same..how did you do that on here? It's really cool! I was wondering, what is your thought on graphic organizers such as this? Do you like them? Do they help, or are they simply worksheets/time fillers for you as a student? It looks like this map helped you find some good traits and characteristics. I know you've read Catcher a lot, but do you find anything new or different each time you read it? I have also read it a few times, and the first time I read it I hated it. I have since found things I didn't really get before, and the book has created new meaning for me in lots of different ways. My advice, stick with it...try reading it from different perspectives, you might be surprised at what you find!
