overcoming struggle or facing a difficulty

Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheniox
J.K. Rolling

Harry Potter's only family left is his godfather serious black. But during the last major battle of the book at the Ministry of Magic Serious's own sister kills him. Harry hit standing right next to serious at the time of his death. With both of his parents dead and now his last chance of having a regular loving family, he dies. This is overcoming a sruggle and facing a difficulty becuase the stuggle is having to see his own godfather die, remembering not to take revange or he is just as bad as the bad guys. Facing a difficulty is Harry having to know that he can't return "home" to the blacks house aka the order headquarters, he must now face going back to his aunts house, with the family who never wanted him in the first place.
